When starting any website project, be it for a business, community or blog, Search engine Optimisation (SEO) has to be in the fore front of your mind. It is often a lot easier to implement the below criteria during the development than it is later on.

[  ] Install Google Analytics
[  ] Set up a Goal in Analytics
[  ] Install Google Search Console
[  ] Link  Search Console and Analytics
[  ] Create robot.txt file and upload it to the root directory of your site.
[  ] Create sitemap.xml file and upload it to the root file directory of your site and submit to Google Search Console for indexing.
